Adriano Cirillo was born in Bari (Italy) in 1951. He studied composition with Nino Rota, piano with Lya de Barberis and Vincenzo Vitale, and conducting with Massimo Pradella Nicola Samale. From 1975 until 2003 he was teaching piano at the State Conservatory "N. Piccini" of Bari where he was also responsible for musicology. He is currently teaching at Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello in Venice. He is the pianist of Trio di Bari and has worked as an editor for Carish edition. His compositions have been published by Ut Orpheus
