Giuseppe Aldrovandini



Two motets (Bass, two violins, and basso continuo) Op.1


Giuseppe Aldrovandini (1671–1707) was a prominent member of the Bolognese school of composers that flourished on both sides of 1700 and numbered among its members Arcangelo Corelli (in his early years), members of the Bononcini family, Giovanni Paolo Colonna and Giacomo Antonio Perti. Aldrovandini was a versatile composer who produced operas, oratorios, motets and other church music and chamber music for strings.
